COMMUNITY service

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

— Helen Keller, political organizer & disability rights advocate

I'm a volunteer with experience in racial justice and LGBTQ issues. This experience includes cofounding The Sunup Initiative and serving on the Steering Committees for the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange and the Stay Together Appalachian Youth (STAY) Project. I completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps and earned the Congressional Award for Service in 2015.
